ReSource New Jersey, Inc hosts its second AIA/CES Continuing Education Event

The one-day event themed “In Celebration of the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day” provided AIA Continuing Education Unit Courses by INSTALL, Bentley Prince Street, Johnsonite, Schutz/Resource New Jersey, Armstrong and Invista. The event was attended by over 60 people including 30 Architects, Carpenters Union officials, Starnet executives and an exhibits area staffed by Michael Halebian Co., Holt Construction, Milliken, Atlas, Patcraft and Mannington featuring the latest floor covering technologies, products and general contracting services. Those Architects who attended received six full CEU’s for the full day event.

ReSource New Jersey announced their next CEU Event will be Thursday October 14th, 2010. Participants were also given a tour of on-site facilities for administration, estimating, project management and current warehouse stock.

ReSource New Jersey, Inc has opened its 5th regional location in Stamford, Connecticut. This location will serve all of New England and is staffed by industry veteran Bob Polman, Bob brings 31 years of commercial contract flooring experience to this location supported by a Bachelor of Science Degree in Architectural Engineering Technology.

ReSource New Jersey, Inc is a leader in the field of providing and installing commercial contract flooring coverings, floor maintenance and allied services to Building Owners, General Contractors, Facility Managers and the Architectural and Design community.

ReSource New Jersey, Inc hosts Inaugural Continuing Education Event

ReSource New Jersey recently provided an education and networking event for Architects, Interior Designers, Facilities Managers and General Contractors. The event held November 19th, 2009 was based at ReSource New Jersey’s Corporate Showroom and Conference Center located at 66 Ford Road Denville, NJ.

The inaugural one-day event provided AIA Continuing Education Unit Courses by INSTALL, Mapei and Free Axez. The well attended event featured the latest floor covering technologies, products and services and was supported by the presence of several mills and manufacturers as well as major floor covering distributors.

The CEU’s offered were:

• Flooring and the LEED Process
• Wire Management and the Modern Building
• General Surface Preparation

Participants were also given a tour of on-site facilities for administration, estimating, project management and current warehouse stock.
